June and July offer great opportunities for staying high up in the cool air of the Mountains of North Georgia and North Carolina. The Pisgah Inn, for instance sits at 5000 feet, overlooking mountains and valleys. Hiking trails, and fabulous meals abound at the places we stay. Trout, Truffle Oil Mushrooms, fried okra, fresh lima beans, sweet potatoes locally grown, culinary bliss. Birds, beasts, horses, and even a donkey or two enjoy the rolling hills.
