A Life of Love and Friendship

As Valentines Day ends, as I struggle with living alone after 35 years of marriage, the gifts of love and friendship rule my thoughts. As an old man of 78 years, as a philosopher, I am torn between the joys of my long life, and the horrors, the cruelty, the hardship of so many in the present world, including this country I live in. For now, let me celebrate those I have loved and those who have loved me.

The person who loved me more than any other, the person I have loved most in my life is Darryl. Here I shall post a few of the wonderful photographs of our times together, our joys, our travels. Many more are here in the pages of this blog.
